Dr Jane McNae graduated from the University of Queensland, Australia in 1997 and has worked as a Veterinary Surgeon in Hong Kong since graduation, with a short period in the UK. She is a Member by examination of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Surgery and has worked in emergency medicine in both HK and UK. She has examined, diagnosed and treated with medicine and surgery all the common conditions your pet may suffer.

Dr Jane returned to HK in 2010, as the Course Director and Lecturer for the Royal Veterinary College, University of London, based in Hong Kong, delivering Asia’s first BSc (Hons) degree in Veterinary Nursing.

Animal physiotherapy is a very important component of the treatment for many musculoskeletal (muscle, bone, joints, soft tissues) and neurological conditions seen in dogs, cats, rabbits and exotic pets. Dr Jane has now focused her skills to the area of animal physiotherapy and is Hong Kong’s first Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist with the Canine Rehabilitation Institute, USA, also having completed an Internship with the Rehabilitation service at the Animal Medical Center, New York.

Dr Jane offers physiotherapy consultations at Island Veterinary Services on Tuesdays and at The ARK on Wednesdays.
